Post Graduate Programs
CIMAV´s graduate programs have developed a tradition of excellence to satisfy the academic, scientific and industrial demands in the areas of engineering materials and environmental research. Faculty members at CIMAV are at the cutting edge of knowledge in their areas of expertise. Our graduates students, with full-time scholarships sponsored by CONACYT, work for a wide variety of national and international industries and organizations. Close relationship with private industry and other international academic institutions provides a network for collaborative research.
Our post graduate programs belong to the “pardon de Excelencia” of the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia (CONACYT) which is the “graduate program of excellence” of the National Council of Science and technology (CONACYT)

The main objective of the institutional academic programs is to take advantage of the multidisciplinary areas of expertise within the center to develop innovative research in the fields above mentioned. Other important activities are focused to strengthen CIMAV's faculty in the development of collaborative and interdisciplinary research efforts with researchers in other research institutions at the national and international levels and to foster innovative academic, industrial and business partnerships.
